Indigenous Peoples Literature Society

Let the voices of indigenous peoples be heard

 Why?

  • There is great danger in hearing only one side of the story
  • Reading literature from underrepresented groups will lay a foundation of understanding, acceptance, and tolerance, ultimately creating a world of peace and gender equality
  • This will help us move closer to building a world with equal opportunity for all

Storytime featuring Cree and Lakota author Monique Gray Smith's children's book You Hold Me Up
